A recent addition to our flower garden, the “Monica” rose was transplanted from my mother’s garden in St. Catharines. It has small to medium sized, deep orange blooms. The fragrance is delicate.
I was working in the yard early one morning and caught the sun’s light brightly illuminating the flowers on this rose. I intentionally over-exposed the image to blow-out the highlights for a dramatic, almost heavenly glow. This is one of my favourite photos.
