Farms, Hamlets and Memories

There is a vast and diverse area north of Belleville, from Stirling across to Tweed then north to Marmora and Madoc, and the many hamlets within this area that once thrived. Rolling hills and streams, carved out by glaciers and subsequent erosion 1000’s of years ago, provided shelter and sustenance initially for the first peoples of North American, then European settlers, and now us. This is an area I continue to explore.
